The shades are nice and the block out works great. They were easy to install once we found the instructions. Of the five we purchased, four were short by 3 inches. The staff were very helpful and immediately offered to either give us a refund or immediatly make new ones for us at no cost to us (including shipping). Sadly the color I choose was more yellow then the cream color shown on the site. But they would not replace them in a different color without us incuring the cost of shipping ($80). I could understand if there was nothing wrong with them and I just wanted a new color, that would be a viable charge, considering their Satisfaction guarantee. However since they have to make new ones, it would have been nice to do a simple change of color for my inconvience. I will live with the yellowy antique color. I was also surprised they don't want us to even return the too short shades, and told us to either dispose of them or donate them.

Manufacture and delivry was fast- the product is quality- the instruction are tiny and hard to read when installing- drawing are not large enough to give perspective, however once it is figured out the blind TDBU is gorgeous and gets the job done. Important for companies to realize that going on line for initial instructions is good but when you are trying to work over head a well documented instruction card would be helpful. I'm ordering a blind for my larger window nest time so I'm glad I learned on this little one.

I got the first blind up real easy the second blind had a bent mounting bracket so I had to wait for you to send me a new one which took longer to get than the blinds. got it up today I like them and plan on buying more. thank you

The blinds themselves are exactly as we had ordered and are of great quality, as for the installation of the blinds I was very disappointed as to how long it took to install each blind. I would recommend them, but I would recommend having them professionally installed.

My blind looks really good and very well made. Operates smoothly. Terrible installation system. Trying to hold up a heavy blind and screw on three wing nuts is next to impossible even with two people. Really needs a revamped install system! Also could use some plastic pull tabs to grab to pull down.

Prices have gone up a lot since I last purchesed from Blindster! All the sales seem like a joke to make it feel like you are doing us a favor. I really appriciated years ago when this company first started that you sold quality items online and beat the compition because of effienct careful markiting of your product. Now it feels more like everyother companies smoke and mirriors marketing.

Closure tightness
They don't close as tight as I expected when closing them in either direction. They are installed in a garage. I bought them to block sun to make the garage easier to cool. If they were installed in our house there is no way my wife would have accepted them. I doesn't matter now though because I have discarded to boxs. I really thought they were going to be special after hearing the commercials about why the company came to be.
