The only negative i have is in regards to the clear plastic tensioner device. The instructions dont help. Is the spring function to be discarded once the blind tensioner is in position? I ended up not using it yet. The chain is hanging unattached and seems to be working fine. Nice product though and overall i am pleased with it.

I called to order blinds with the size of the window. I wished I was told to add 2-3". When installed, the shade obviously was attached above the window and the shade was short. But, you did replace them with the right size and they look great! Thank you

Replacement shade seemed less sturdy and not as heavy as the older one. This could be good thing--I will have to see as it wears!

The items came correctly. One plastic part broke, and they sent another one quickly - all 4 stars. It is sad when trying to be 'affordable' for people that the company needs to use plastic parts on critical areas. But, it is working as planned, and we are grateful to Blindster.

Once the blind is mounted, it looks and works great. My window offered some obstacles to getting the blind mounted. The instruction drawings do not exactly match the product. Eventually, I concluded my blind was a type B, but the drawing of its end wasn't an accurate drawing. I needed to put some sort of adhesive on the mounting, so that the mounting clip would STAY, after I carefully aligned the blind with its clips in place, then carefully dismounted the blind. Unfortunately, the clips' plastic is waxy in its texture, so that it resists adhesive. The clips had to be mounted farther forward in my window frame, due to a central wooden beam. Eventually, I figured out a way to establish a physical reference for holding the clips in the right place, while I drilled the required holes for the screws.

The shades look and function well for privacy - ordering process was easy and the shipping was fast. The color is great. The only reason I took off a star: the cellular part of the shades that expands is very very small/narrow and not "the usual" pleat size you expect or like what you'd get at Lowes or Home Depot in the store... I was pretty disappointed by that. Very very thin pleats. I don't think these shades will add to a homes energy efficiency at all, they're just too thin but certainly better than nothing for privacy only. I'll be more careful with my next order and ensure that I pay attention to the pleat sizing

My new shades are perfect. I did have a couple issues with one and the remote. Both were replaced - no problem. A woman named, Fabi, helped throughout my order. She was wonderful to work with.

The blackout works really well but the up and down mechanism seems very tight, so much that at times it feels like it could just snap. I have no children and wouldn’t recommend them in a house with kids due to that fact, I hope to feel them get somewhat smoother with ease. I’ll keep them for now and see how it goes.
